I recently purchased the ds708 tool and tried it in 2001 ford focus zx3  2.0 3 door sedan, but when connecting to vehicle automatically or manually it did not have 2001 option, it did however have a 2000 and 2002 option. I chose 2000 and was able to read data. Is this normal where we have to guess which model year will work if that model year is missing or is my file corrupted? I have the latest version of ford installed.

Thanks for the reply, Here is the vin 3FAFP31361R179782 what would be the proper selection for this vehicle? Like I said system did not have 2001 selection it jumped from 2000 to 2002. I'll appreciate your input.
